Matthew is an accessible, dedicated, and patient personal trainer established in Los Angeles since 2004. He was inspired to jump-start his own personal training program in 1992 after watching athletes compete at the Summer Olympics in Barcelona. In addition to working out he enjoys biking, hiking, swimming, and laughing at his attempts at hip-hop dance. He provides proper and safe guidance, instruction, and motivation on core and functional strength and endurance training in addition to cardiovascular conditioning, balance and stability, flexibility, postural awareness, and nutrition education to achieve optimal and realistic health and fitness goals regardless of age, body type, fitness level, gender, and/or physical limitations. He holds a B.S. in Kinesiology-Exercise Science from UW-Madison and certifications from the American Council on Exercise and the American College of Sports Medicine.
