Phil was born in England, raised in Texas, but he’ll never leave Southern California. Diagnosed with cancer at 17, he had to learn how to push his body to the limits to survive. Six months of chemotherapy sucks (the life out of you)! However, this experience taught him how to be mentally strong as well as physically strong. His goal is to teach you how to get over mental obstacles to improving your health, and the physical results WILL follow…
Phil has 8 years of experience training with every kind of body from college athletes to sedentary business owners to time constrained actors and everything in between. In addition to being a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, he also holds certifications through TRX Suspension Training, Kettlebell Athletics, as well as a sports nutrition certification through Precision Nutrition.
When you begin training with Phil, you are making a choice to let him into your life. He doesn’t see his clients for three to five hours per week and then have no communication the rest of the time. He demands that you don’t waste your money training by not drinking enough water, not doing cardio on your own time, not eating well, etc., so he WILL be texting, calling, and holding you accountable. Again, when you sign up with Phil, you are joining a team as well as acquiring a friend. If you don’t succeed, he doesn’t succeed.
